Solid and Superior Background

In order to support and upgrade Taiwan’s national bio-based industry to have greater development in biotechnology field, our government had recruited many outstanding overseas scholars to established The Development Center for Biotechnology (DCB) of Taiwan in 1984.
In 2000, Taiwan Advance Bio-Pharmaceutical Incorporation (TABP) received the technology transfers and assets from DCB, including the related laboratories, factories, equipment. TABP worked with The Biomembrane Institute(TBI) in the foundation of Glyconex Incorporation focused on the research of developing glycoprotein medication.

【Kwoh-Ting Li Councilor】
During 1976-1988, Councilor Li served as Applied Science and Technology Research Group Convener of the Executive Yuan. Under his leading, the Executive Yuan was first called the National Science and Technology Conference, the government organized the high-tech industries’ develop policies in Taiwan.
